At first, i didn't think i would like this book, but i finish all books i start so i kept reading. as it turned out, this was the best book i have ever read. That was like a year ago. Even today, its still the best book i have ever read. It is by far my favorite. The characters feel so real, they are very well developed and have very deep personalities. The plot is also very good. And the ending is great. Its real life. R.A. Salvatore is a very great author.

I love these books. I now have read the complete set 3 times. I love going into the world of Mia and reading about her troubles, which are very much like mine (except i'm not a princess, though i wish i was):) These books are definately unique. They will make you laugh out loud, many, many, many times! Once you start reading you will NOT be able to stop. I don't really have a favorite book in the series. I love all of them. And I hope you take the time to read these wonderful and enjoyable books.

I think that this was the best book I have ever read. I really enjoyed reading the book. Even though the story was complicated it all came together very well at the end. It is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats( his fist named is the same as his last but backwards) who is sent to Camp Greenlake, a boys detentional center, because he was framed for stealing Clyde Livingston's shoes. The author wrote this story very well and I recommend this story to children or adults.

No, not the Bible, the review below me. That man must not know that Jesus was VERY REAL, and that He died for us for our sins because He loved us so much. This book is very inspiring. Yes, this book is non-fiction, and all these characters are very real. It may not seem like it, but if you look deeper and deeper, you will change. I've found evidence by listening to many different Christian testimonies.

Snow Crash (Bantam Spectra Book) - book cover picture

My husband and I originally listened to this book on tape. We enjoyed it so much we purchased copies for our daughter and her boyfriend. This book opens the mind to so much. Even though this is set in the somewhat near future, the seeds of that future can definately be seen now. It is doubtful it would happen...but you never know. The information given about Sumeria prompted us to actually do research to find out how much of it was true. The very fact that we did this was very telling as far as how the book really grabbed us. It is not something we would normally do. At times the book could be considered a little slow, but it is worth bearing through.

At first, I wasn't too sure about this book when we received it as a gift, but now, my little one at 3 just loves it. I have to read it over, and over, and over, and he still wants to take it to bed. It's a very cute little story about what a little bear wears all day, but also what he does during his day. My little one particularly likes the "ants in my pants" part, but it is a very entertaining book and quite cute. Definitely a must for bedtime.

My feeble attempt at reviewing Evensong is to encourage ever

Evensong - book cover picture

I wanted to review this book and am at a loss for words. Why? It is so unsurpassingly excellent. As soon as I finished it I reread book a second time and I have never done that before. I zeroxed pages and sent to friends. Why the enthusiasm? The story is about two Episcopal priests, mainly about the woman priest married to a husband priest. She has many problems -- her mother deserted her father, her husband suffers from cruel memories of his childhood. It is the author's attitude toward life and suffering which captivated me. Of course the role God plays in these lives is strikingly and subletly expressed. Our heroine finds meaning and purpose in life, although she too suffers. Evensong is second book about these characters. Father Meloncholy was first and I pray there will be a third.

The Famous Five 1: Five on a Treasure Island (Famous Five) - book cover picture

This is the first installment of what was soon to become one of the all time best children's series ever written. This tome introduces us to the henceforth famous five: Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and of course, her faithful dog Timothy. The first three, who are siblings, travel to Kirren for the holiday and meet their cousin Georgina -a hot tempered little girl who dresses like a boy and refuses to answer to anything but "George". In no time, the five are fast friends and off on their first glorious adventure which sets the tone for many more: be prepared for mysterious happenings, bad tempered criminals, hair raising episodes in tunnels and passageways and of course, the usual mouth watering descriptions of every scrumptious meal the five share: FOUR meals a day, thank you very much, since the British partake of breakfast, dinner, tea AND supper! If you can make it through this book let alone the series without eating a lot of tomatos, you're a paragon of self discipline!

WOW! What a Family

Book title: The Witching Hour (Lives of the Mayfair Witches)
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Hardcover
The Witching Hour (Lives of the Mayfair Witches) - book cover picture

This was a wonderful book. The world in which Anne Rice created for the Mayfair witches to exist in is a timely, accurate reflection of our own world. The novel started rather slowly, but bacame much more interesting once the reader realizes the depth of the Mayfairs' story, and the realism of the characters. The family's demon, Lasher, is not realy met until the end of the book. If he was introduced as a character in the beginning of the book, he would have taken on much more scope as an evil character. I have really enjoyed Ms. Rice's novels, but this one takes the cake. She portrays the lives of thirteen different women over a length of 300 years in a neat, paperback package. An excellent read for anyone who enjoys fiction. But one question: How can a family be so inbred, but have properly functioning descendants?
