Goodkind you've done it again! This book measures up with wizard's first rule and Stone of Tears. It also makes up for soul of the fire, which was not that great. Goodkind is an excellant storyteller, and his talent is exhibited in Faith of the Fallen. While not as flowery as some other fantasy, it keeps you turning the pages right until the end. The fact that he could right such a great story renews my faith in him, and the rest of the fantasy author community.

The book I read was Tom Sawyer. One of my favorite parts in the book was when Tom's Aunt Polly was calling Tom to do some work and she got a hold of him, finally. She asked him if he would paint the fence. He said no at first. But then she made him do it. Well, when he went outside and started painting he got really bored because he was watching all the kids playing at the end of the street. So when some kid came up and started talking to him, Tom conned him into painting the fence so Tom could go and play with Huck. Huck's his best friend. The thing I liked about the book was that it had a lot of action in it. It seemed like there was alway's something going on. I also never got bored reading it. Another thing I liked about it was that it wasen't too short and it wasen't too long. You will have to read the book to see all the mischief they get into.

Tropical gardening here in the the Midwest has been a passion of mine for over 20 years. I never thought of it as different just big annuals. Thats what I liked about Susan's and Dennis's approach to this book. It was really laid back there just plants was the feeling I was getting from reading this book. They didn't make it complicated. I liked the real expectations they had in the book no hype about growing you own table ready bananas in Maine or something crazy like that just pure and simple you are growing them for the foliage effect don't get carried away. Bananas are just big cannas and brumansias are really big coleus they put it simple and gave great advice and the garden shots are great a real inspiration. The over wintering section was worth the price of the book.

I have the pleasure of working with Gina in a children's program. I enjoy my time with her and was happy she put her wisdom into a book for me to have at all times. I have given this book to my sister and my friend who is pregnant for the first time. I recommend not only to people with families but to people like me whose friends are family. The book added a quality and richness to my everyday life. How I interact with people is forever changed...

Hilarious!

There is plenty of humor in the book, but the "reviewers" accusing the authors of cut & pasting old stories to make a book by copy pasting their OWN negative reviews is totally hilarious. Either they have a serious grudge out for these writers or they are just following orders. At an rate even the naysayers ought to actually buy and read the book. If they can get beyond their knee jerked negativity they will find some illuminating stories in the book. They would find out what made the celebrity monsters in the first place. Nannies, wierd schools, desperate measures of the people barely on the inside. The behind the scenes reporting on the bigger celebs is fasinating stuff too. I got my local library to order Hollywood Interrupted!

Just finished Daughter of the Forest last night, and it was one of the best books I've read in a long time. Marillier is such a polished and accomplished writer, it's hard to believe this is her first book! I had always loved the fairy tale about the girl who saves her enchanted brothers, and this retelling of it is simply masterful. I dare you to read the reunion scene between Sorcha and Hugh and not be moved! Daughter of the Forest is a wonderful story, beautifully written. The sense of evil is palpable, the trials the heroine must go through are both harrowing and heartbreaking, and the conclusion leaves you wanting to read more about Sorcha, her brother, her wonderful husband Hugh, and their magical home of Sevenwaters. For anyone who likes fantasy, Irish myth, fairy tales, and romance, this book has them all.

I have owned a copy of the 2nd edition of Kreyszig's book for nearly 30 years, and although I left engineering nearly that long ago, it is a continuing source of recreation. Kreyszig does not make things easy, he expects the reader to work hard, and tackling the exercises is essential for proper understanding. The development of each chapter is severely logical, with perhaps a bit more rigour than suits the strictly practical taste. This excellent book is wonderfully complete and repays the work it requires.

I first read Janet Evanovich because she was a wonderfully funny romance writer. But I now have the perfect set of books (One for the Money, Two for the Dough, and Three to Get Deadly) to give to every friend, acquaintance, and person standing near me in the same bookstore. I've read this book several times and still laugh out loud every time. I recommend it to everyone. I intend to have my more mature high school students read it as well. Thank you Janet Evanovich. Please write some more. I can't wait for anything new from this wonderful, funny, romantic, realistic writer.
