This book on Feng Shui really gets into the nitty-gritty of working on qi problems for homes and land. Wu is one of the first in the recent spate of Feng Shui authors to really give some good details about working on your own internal energy in order to be able to sense and hopefully fix qi problems in your home. That is, this book is not just about rearranging some furniture or clearing some clutter, it is more about how to train yourself to detect qi and then be able to work out possible solutions for many types of problems.Highly recommended; you just need to do some Qigong to start working on fixing your internal "clutter".

Cleveland, OH. I have read Many books on English History and W. L Warren's King Henry II is head and shoulders above the rest. His detail in painting a picture of 12th Century Europe with accurate and compelling facts is outstanding. I especially liked the many maps inserted thoughout the book that helped with place and time. For those of you interested in Genealogy of Midevil Europe and Contemporaries of King Henry II this is an excellent source.

Here's a book that's great for experienced as well as new kissers. Anyone who cares about the romantic aspect of kissing will love it. The best thing about the book is that William Cane tells you how to do thirty different types of kisses. Most readers probably only know the french kiss so they'll learn a lot of new kissing techniques. The other benefit of the book is that it answers every question you could think of and is the most detailed treatment of the french kiss in print. After reading it you'll enjoy kissing more. Some other reviewers obviously didn't get the humor in the book but there's plenty of it, which is another big plus. A must read!

THE BEST BOOK ABOUT FEELINGS
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Hardcover
My 3 year old got this book as a gift....it was the BEST book we have ever seen about feelings. It explores a much broader scope of feelings than every other book we have. The riddles are clever and keep my son's attention. He loves to guess which feeling the boy or girl is experiencing. The photographs are great tools in helping him guess the particular feeling. It is a MUST-HAVE for every child to learn how to discuss their feelings. After we read each riddle and guess the correct feeling, I ask my son for some more examples of times he experiences that particular feeling....again, it is a FABULOUS book about feelings. It is an active way for kids to learn how to express their feelings.

I could not put this book down! McCaffrey just drags you right into the book with her characters and the settings. I just fell in love with F'lar and Lessa, along with their dragons. You can sense the attraction between them all right away. And Lessa is the perfect example of a female. She's strong, beautiful, and F'lar can't get enough of her. This book has everything that a book needs, and it's worth all 300 odd pages. I suggest this novel to anyone who enjoys a little romance and passion in their fantasy books.

One Of The Best Books I've EVER Read

This book was written very well. I've read two of Ann Rinaldi's books Or Give Me Death and Time Enough for drums and I couldn't put either one of them down. You feel as if you are the person. She engrosses you in their lives you cry when they cry and smile when something good happens to them. This book is really good I got it from the library and then went and bought it so I could read it whenever wanted. These kind of romances are better then the modern ones because they are always really in love it was a great book and I'd recommend it to just about anyone.

The best children's book is a book that would be loved by all generations. That is definitely true for this book. This book taught me what the lives of black Americans were like for seventy years and beyond after the Civil War. I think it also gives a glimpse of what led them in the direction they have gone culturally, since.Even white readers will begin, through this book, to sort of live empathetically through what they lived -- the struggle to make ends meet in a system designed to continue to enslave them, the struggle to keep a good name while being blamed for the crimes of white men, and just what life was like for the descendants of slaves in the 1930's. I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age who hasn't yet read it. It will captivate you. It will make you laugh, cry, and experience every emotion in between. But it will be well worth it, and you will be glad you did.

Miss Zukas does it again!
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
Helma Zukas is summoned to the home of her best friend, Ruth, in order to inspect a dead body which has been found in a periwinkle patch. At the same time, her co-workers at the library are trying to persuade Helma to do the canoe section of a relay race which attracts over 200 teams. Intrepid woman that she is, Helma manages to do both, with her usual careful preparation and fine eye for detail. This is a delightful series and this particular book is one of the best of the Miss Zukas series. Dereske's characters are likeable and humorous and she does a great job of describing the area in Washington state where the series takes place. She also manages to tie up all of the loose ends from the murder and gives the ending a bittersweet tinge.

When I first read "Gemini Man" I knew that here was an author that would be worth reading no matter what he wrote. This book is comparable to the best of Ludlum and Morrel and has it all. The characters are great and keep the book rolling along well. They are very 3 dimensional, with weaknesses to go along with their strengths. Mr. Steinberg is very good at presenting the motivations that drive his characters and the insights they have. But don't think this bogs it down or supplants the action, there's plenty of that as this juggernaut rolls along and keeps you coming back for more. This is a must read, along with his other 2 books. I hope we have many years to look forward to reading his books.

An Unforgettable Event!!!

I was not aware that human beings were capable of such inhumane acts. This book will make every hair on your body stand up. If you want to know the pure truth behind what happened to the Armenian people 87 years ago this book is what I recommend. This is a time when terror has taken on a whole new meaning. Yet, I am not so sure that its underlying roots are resent. Sad, eye-opening, brutal, and inexcusable are just a few of the adjectives that come to my mind. Read it, and you will know what the Turkish government is trying to hide.
