Beautifully written story -- for all ages.

I just read this book to my 4-year-old, and loved every page. When I was a child, I avoided reading this because I thought it would be too heartbreaking. Maybe as a sensitive child, it would have broken my heart, but from my perspective now, I think that the events are handled in the best possible manner. Life is a natural cycle, and we must cherish our time and our true friendships. It is a beautiful story, wonderfully written, and an entertaining read which I found a pleasure to read.

wonderful audio
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
I've listened to a few audio books before, but never had to readers been this good. I was easy to differentiate characters and narrators even with two readers, one male, one female. The story & dialogue were engaging enough that I didn't want to miss a word. This was an appropriate book to put on audio recording as well. This story seemed more mainstream, not like a big romance. There was more action and info on Kasbekistan and it's culture, showing the variety of people in residence, making it less like a stereotypical terrorist hotbed. Love scenes seemed appropriate to the main characters' conversations.

Beyond the Internet hype
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Hardcover
After a thorough analysis of man's organization and technology, Groths sets out to investigate the new forms of organization that IT faciliates. His innovations includes 'The Joystick Organization', the Meta-Organization' and ' The Organized Cloud'.Groth is no IT nerd, nor a Luddite. He is surprisingly sober on the digital economy, and often funny. There are not too many people on this planet who integrates Sokrates' dialogues, Mintzberg's organization theory and the technical intricacies of computer systems into one single framework. There may be good reasons not to, but when Groth does this, you feel it is natural and coherent.

It will never happen!!

My problem is I don't want a Fair Tax, I don't want any taxes!! Most taxes are taken and given to Political Cronies anyway. This plan sounds good on paper but like Social Security Reform is already being demonized with lies by the special interest groups that will be hurt by it. One big lie is that the poor will pay the 23% too yet I beleive the plan is not to tax food and to give the poor a rebate(yet what if they decide to squander their rebate on luxuries instead of necessities?).
It sounds like a good plan but the heat sheild tiles have already come off of this space shuttle on liftoff.

DON'T MISS THIS BOOK!
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
The author, Brad Blanton, is self-righteous and angry. Aren't we all? At least he
admits it! This is the most up-front, "out there" book I've ever read.
You might expect a book from a gestalt psychotherapist to be lofty and inaccessible.
Nope. Blanton's ideas are elegantly simple yet profound; his language is poetic and
gritty. I'm a Mensan and a voracious reader. I seldom reread books because I
constantly seek new concepts. However, this book instantly went to my "favored author"
shelf, and I've read it three times so far. Each time I absorbed different
meanings and improved my life through actions he recommends. There are nuggets here
for everyone. What's in it for you? Have a read and find out.
The subtitle is, "How to Transform Your Life by Telling the Truth."
Get mad and get over it. Stop being a victim. Learn to create your life.

Here's to the reclamation of ourselves.
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Hardcover
There is genius in this book. One must never forget why. If one does, one does die. To never confuse life with death. To never allow passing time to escape. To break forth into the world with every ounce of aspiration and energy, the only inspiration inside yourself. To know that you are alive at the very least. To know that "what dreams may come" are coming only today in these waking moments and never "in that sleep of death." That is all, and so it is TO BE. Why indeed I do love this book.

The Best I've Read
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
A Clockwork Orange has to be one of the best books I have ever read in my life. I am the type of reader that will pick up a book and if it's good, it will become my new favorite. I can honestly say that A Clockwork Orange hasn't been topped since I read it earlier this year. I originally started the book last year, but with my busy schedule, I didn't have time to finish it. This year was a different story, I could not put the book down. Burgess' use of the NADSAT language filled with the vile images leaves you with a life long memory of it all. I don't have one problem with this book, I can't say that about many things. I have reread it now a couple of times and is falling apart with all the notes I have taken in it. It has such a deep meaning that can be topped by very few books. I give this book my ultimate rating.

Mystically Contraversial-THE GOLDEN COMPASS
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
The book "THE GOLDEN COMPASS" seemingly transported me to the relm of daemons, and outer worldly convections, where betrayal and comfort seemed to walk hand and hand. The battle between good and evil constantly rages, and rumors spread panic among land and water inhabitants alike. The plot was unlike anything that I've ever read before, and the golden compass seemed so real, that I found myself longing to be one of the few who could read it. Phillip Pullman is truly a genious. And if you think THE GOLDEN COMPASS was good, wait untill you read THE SUBTLE KNIFE.

Best Investing Book
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
This is the best book on Investing that I've read and this is the system that I follow for the most part. O'Neil is one of the best investors / traders and is worth over 200 million for a good reason; follow his system. I've been using this system for many years and after a large sample size of trades I've made large percentage gains. For example, my last big winner was TASR which I found beneath the radar and before it was hyped by mass media; it was a technical chart pattern that O'Neil talks about called a High Tight Flag; I trippled my $ on margin in one month. Some say that what I did is dangerous or risky but I was ready to take a 3% - 5% loss quickly if I was wrong. This was a small price to pay for the upside potential. Besides having several winners and a few super winners, I've also had quite a few losers which are part of the cost of being a trader. Buy this book and attend his seminars; you won't regret it.
