The book is no fun to read it is strictly for people who are serious in software engineering. Book is best not only for introducing software engineering but also for reference purpose. At least, I can't live with out the guidelines given in it. I am thankful to my teacher who told me about this book. Buy it.

This book is about an English teenage girl who tells about her current life. She tells of boyfriends, her experience with thongs, and her enraged attack-cat, Angus. Through the course of the book, she tells of troubles with friends, and of course, family. This book is a non-stop, page turner. From beginning to end, the almost hypnotic writing style of Louise Rennison keeps one riveted. This is truly a comedic piece of literature, and is a must for all teenagers.

Outstanding audio production of Phillip Pullman's The Golden Compass. THIS is how audio books should sound! Unabridged, brilliantly narrated by the author and with a compelling cast of voice characters.
We got ours through audible.com and it is fabulous. Don't be without this set. By all means, read the books. But after you have read them, get this set to enjoy on trips, rainy afternoons, or as pure audio pleasure. This is an excellent way to get your kids (or husband ;) to learn to LISTEN. Get it!

Outstanding technical writing book.
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
This book is the best I've found of its kind. It is readable from cover to cover, and persuasively explains how to approach various types of writing projects. I especially like the fact that it suggests what kinds of information (e.g., central point, example, definition of unfamiliar terms, road map) belong in a particular type of report (e.g., feasibility study, business proposal, presentation). This isn't always obvious, and it has helped me time and time again on assignments for various clients. I'm here looking for other books by the same author.

This is a Must Have--Especially if you are a student of Astrology
Rating: 5/5

Frances Sakoian's The Astrology of Human Relationships is a must have for any Astrologer. She goes through all the planet/sign combinations with their aspects in the book, describing indepth, the good and the bad of compatibility between two charts. Of course you must have a basic understanding of the signs, planets and what conjunctions, trines, squares, etc., are. It puts a new spin on what "A's Mercury conjunct B's Uranus" means as well as well as what "A's Venus in B's fourth house" means. I would recommend this book to anyone studying Astrology. It is definitely a book for my library.

Top Ten Books on Composition
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
This book is a must read not only for students of Cezanne and Cubism, but for anyone who would like to understand how a composition is put together. By comparing photographs of subjects painted by Cezanne, to the paintings created, one can see what interested the master in his own work. Cezanne's classic remark about Monet ("He is only an eye. But what an eye!")is clearly relevant here: Cezanne is not only an eye function, but a meditation on the process of visual construction per se. A stimulating and important book.

I can't truly say which of your books are my favorites. Everyone I have ever read has captured me from the first page and has held my thoughts and dreams and my imagination from the moment I put it down til I have the chance to pick it back up and get lost within the wonderous fairy tale once again. I hope to become a writer someday and if I can only be half as good as you are, I will be satisfied. Thank you for bringing romance into my life

the patchwork girl of oz
Rating: 5/5
Binding: Paperback
I have read every one of the oz books and these books are great to read to your children or grand children. I read these books to my sons, but the books belonged to my husband. We have tried to find these books in the libraries but the ones that we have visited did not even know that they existed except The Wizard of Oz. These books are filled with great wonders and they teach our children to accept the differences in people. I highly recommend these books to anyone.
